STROKE SYMPTOMS

Stroke Symtoms is the most widely used term that is designated for the Paralytic attack in the body. Stroke is considered as the medical emergency as every second counts in that condition for saving the patient from the critical life condition. It is suggested to remember F. A. S. T. which denotes Face, Arms, Speech, and Time. For ascertaining whether the patient has Stroke Symptoms this is the easiest way to judge. Simply ask the 4 questions as mentioned below:

Face: Ask the person to smile & notice whether one side of his face sinks.

Arms: Ask the person to raise both arms & check whether one arm float downward.

Speech: Ask the person repeating the simple sentence & mark out whether his words are garbled or whether he is repeating the sentence correctly.

Time: If the person exhibits any of the above symtoms, then time is extremely important so rush him to the doctor for emergency medical assistance or treatments as his brain cells are on the verge of dying.

The American Stroke Association has categorized a few common symptoms for Stroke:

    • Abrupt numbness or weakness of the face, arm or leg typically on any one side of the body
    • Abrupt confusion or trouble in speaking as well as understanding anything
    • Abrupt difficulty in seeing with one or both of the eyes
    • Abrupt inability of walking, giddiness, loss of balancing the body or loss of coordination
    • Sudden and severe headache with no known causes
 Stroke Symtoms & Signs - Mini and Mild Strokes
