KIDNEY INFECTION SYMPTOMS

Kidney Infections are dangerous and if left untreated they could cause blood poisoning, loss of one or both of the kidneys leading even to the death. Most of the people cannot realize the Kidney Infection Symtoms misunderstanding them as due to some other disease or disorder, unless the person who has already suffered from it. The Kidney Infection specifically occurs when the bacteria enter the urinary tract through the urethra and start multiplying there. The other way through which these bacteria could affect or infect the kidneys is via blood streams or via bladder to reach out the kidneys.

The Kidney Infection Symptoms: It has been reported that in the common conditions some or all of the following symtoms or signs could be experienced when the kidney infection is caused:

    • Recurrent urination
    • Strong and relentless pressure sensation for urinating
    • Burning sensation or pain while passing urine
    • Pain or pressure experienced in the abdominal area
    • Urine with cloudy color often with strong odor or unusual smell
    • Blood or pus in the urine – hematuria
    • Inability to pass urine or urine retention
    • Need to pass urine during nights – nocturia
    • Pains in the back, side – flank or groin, and
    • Fever, irritability, loss of appetite, loose bowel motions

    However, in case of some severe kidney infections other symptoms that include are:

    • Body temperature shooting up to 101 deg F or more – high fever
    • Shaking chillness, extremely fatigue or weakness
    • Sweating at nights, Nausea or Vomiting and Confusion state.
