FLU SYMPTOMS

Flu is the acronym and most common term for one of the disorders which is known as the Influenza. The Flu Symtoms could be mild or severe and if they are mild they could become severe without any specific indications, hence it is highly advised to beware of your body and consistently watch the body temperature.

Majority of the flu patients get the complete recovery within 1 or 2 weeks at the most, whereas in some specific cases the symtoms may develop to certain serious conditions – potentially to life-threatening medical complications known as Pneumonia. As per the survey statistics the influenza causes nearly 20,000 deaths every year within the United States alone. Complications related to the influenza could occur at any age, but elderly persons having chronic health problems are more likely to be catching the flu viruses as compared to younger or healthier people.

As per the medical records, some of the most general Flu Symptoms include:

    • Fever – mostly ranging between 100 deg F to 103 deg F in adults but the mercury could be even on the higher side in case of children in some typical cases
    • Mild to severe headaches accompanied by breaking muscle pains too
    • Feeling of chillness, extreme tiredness and dry coughs
    • Runny or often stuffy nose conditions – this is more common in children as compared to the adult sufferers
    • Several stomach related symptoms are also very common like: nausea, vomiting and often diarrhoea, these are also more common in children than adults, anyway
    • In some typical cases even gastrointestinal symtoms are also experienced
